| Description |
Medical Equipment Management - Install, inspect, test, calibrate, and maintain biomedical equipment across clinical departments.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance as per manufacturer and hospital schedules.
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment faults to minimize downtime.
Compliance & Safety - Ensure compliance with DHA / MOH regulations and hospital policies.
- Maintain equipment documentation, service records, and calibration logs.
- Support accreditation requirements related to medical equipment.
Vendor & Asset Management - Coordinate with equipment vendors for AMC, CMC, warranties, and breakdown support.
- Evaluate new medical equipment and provide technical input for procurement.
- Maintain inventory of medical devices and spare parts.
Clinical Support - Provide technical support to clinicians and nursing staff on safe equipment usage.
- Conduct user training and safety awareness sessions when required.
- Support commissioning of new units, services, or equipment upgrades.
Quality & Cost Control - Monitor equipment performance and recommend replacements or upgrades.
- Assist in budgeting, cost optimization, and lifecycle management of assets.
- Reduce equipment downtime and service costs through effective maintenance planning.
